Build Capacity of Innovative Programs
To build capacity in behavioral health services, the Katz Amsterdam Foundation partners with local non-profit organizations that are already performing critical work in their mountain communities.
These non-profit partners continuously develop and test innovative programs to determine what will best serve the needs of the community. These programs include campaigns that reduce the stigma associated with mental health and substance misuse, bringing providers together to improve systems and coordinate care, identify specific needs of communities of color to provide the best care, and so many more. Both the Katz Amsterdam Foundation and the Katz Amsterdam Charitable Trust help foster and support programs that respond to the communities’ priority needs.
